The Hostel Committee of VIT Chennai is always ready to cater to the needs of the students to ease their lives far from the comfort of their own homes. At any time of the day or night, at least one or two staff members are on duty to cater to emergencies in the respective hostel. The hostel committee is sponsoring the complete event. Refreshments and meals during the event will also be served by the hostel committee.
VIT Chennai has a vibrant eco system for innovations including Incubation we have two incubation center to support students, faculty members for converting their startup ideas into startups with faculty members from each school to coordinate the innovation and Startup activities. VIT Social Business Incubator is started in the year 2017 funded by the British Council in association with Cambridge Judge Business School UK and V-NEST started in the year 2020 supported by the institute.
The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative by the Government of India, under the Ministry of Education, to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among educational institutions. It aims to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within colleges and universities across the country. The primary objective of IIC is to encourage, inspire, and nurture young minds to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Offer services or products aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being among hostel residents, such as fitness programs, mindfulness workshops, or healthy meal options.
